Logitech adds to its G-Series
gaming product line the new G600 MMO gaming mouse, follow-up to the G500.
Specially designed for massively multiplayer online (MMO) gaming, the highly
customizable mouse features 20 buttons, including 12 thumb buttons, set in two
groups of six on a easy reach thumb panel quick and easy no-look navigation and
faster game play. Users can even customize the thumb panel’s RGB illumination
with over 16 million possible color combinations. You can also set how the
lighting glow. There are also three large primary buttons, a tilting, clickable
scroll wheel, and DPI and profile switching.
The G600 comes pre-loaded with
two MMO profiles and one generaal gaming profile, so that you can use it right
out of the box. All the buttons are programmable and you can create and store
profiles in its onboard memory.You can assign a G-Shift button that will double
that functionality of the other buttons, and set a DPI Shift button to quickly
change the DPI value. When you let go the button, it returns to standard DPI
value. The mouse’s gaming-grade laser tracking sensor has up to 8200dpi
resolution, and it has a USB report rate of up to 1000 reports per second.
Logitech’s G600 boasts a sculpted
shape designed to support your hand through hours of gaming, and low-friction
feet that reduce the amount of effort required to move the mouse. It comes with
a flexible braided USB cabl cable. It will be released in black and white
colors in July for $79.99.
